Apple Valley Inn Pigeon Forge

Last minute stay, booked through Priceline, $50 for one night. All the wife and I were hoping for was a clean place to lay our heads. Basic room, no extras, room seemed a little dated couod use a fresh coat of paint, but room was clean. Many people may not agree with me, however I base my reviews off what I got for how much I paid. For what we paid we were verry happy with our one night stay.

I have stayed here the past 3 years while attending the Women of Joy conference and I was very pleased… The facility is so cutely decorated and you can enjoy warm cider while sitting by the outdoor fireplace… The beds and pillows are top notch..my daughter and I couldn’t believe how well we slept… Highly recommended..

We stayed for one night and we were very pleased with the room and the staff. Sashanna was very helpful and friendly. She went out of her way to help us. We were towing a car that we had bought from a car show. She not only said it was fine for us to park it there even though parking is a bit tight for towing a vehicle but she came out and showed us the best way to park it across from our room so it would be easier to hook up to when the lot was full at the time we would be leaving! The room was freshly painted, clean and smelled nice and the bed was super comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job. The motel is an older building but I have stayed in much more expensive rooms that were not as clean. The motel is close to restaurants and shopping and getting out into traffic was convenient because there is a traffic light right there. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay at the Apple Valley Inn next time we’re in Pigeon Forge. Thanks for a great weekend!

This is the second time we've stayed at this location, they are usually not super busy the first night we're there (Friday) but Saturday is usually pretty busy. I was happy to be able to pick my room on first floor, although sometimes I think the people upstairs were roller skating. The beds were super comfortable, though I was so tired I didn't care the first night, but I barely moved. It is a little pricey at times but I have stayed at other properties and it's all the same, unless you want something really nice if you spend a lot of time at the hotel, vs we are pretty much there only to sleep, we're out doing other stuff. I didn't have any major issues with the room being clean, it seemed fine aside from regular wear and tear. Hint: I bring my own pillow. The fridge and microwave were great since we did get a pizza. Not many food options unless you want to drive or order in like we did. I'll likely return to this hotel next year, you do save money with AAA or being a BW member, also I think AARP.

I am so happy with our stay here. This is my new spot! I was greeted by the genuine friendly hotel staff at the front desk. The Apple Valley Inn Ascend is a very clean hotel. The suite comes with a sparkling hot tub with jets, a cozy fireplace, a balcony and an equally very clean stand up shower. The floors have been mopped there are no stains to be found. The room was super clean! Not a spot on the wall and no dust. What a comfortable stay. We got a celebration bottle of sparkling juice from the front desk :) Also, the grounds are well maintained and clean. The beautiful pink hydrangeas are in bloom and the fire pit was on. Thank you and we shall return again.

My husband & I stayed here a few weeks ago & it was great. We had to switch rooms due to a barking dog beside our room we checked into originally. But it wasn't a big deal. The 2 people that I dealt with the most were so very friendly & accommodating. They have a small breakfast but it's convenient. The rooms were clean & its so quiet there being upon the mountain which I LOVED! My husband & I agreed that out of everywhere we've ever stayed it's the quietest place. We'll definitely stay there again when visiting pigeon forge. Thanks to the guy at the front desk for being so polite & helpful. Also the girl with him was nice. The woman on the other shift was kinda rude but I didn't pay much attention to her. Lol

First of all, I see many negative reviews. I booked anyway and wanted to see for myself. I encountered 2 staff members and both were pleasant and helpful. The place was clean, convenient, and the location was right where I wanted to be. The price was spot on for my overall experience. I got there and because of the reviews felt like I had to inspect every inch of my room. I found nothing off. There is a coffee bar in the lobby, but no coffee maker in the room. There was a microwave and a mini fridge. Keep in mind this is a 2 star motel. You pay for what you get. My experience was perfect as was the price. I would stay here again.

Y’all, this isn’t the Taj Mahal, but it was clean, comfortable, and the staff were incredibly nice! They were able to accommodate us after we had to leave our previously booked hotel due to bedbugs. Shower pressure was nice. Basic TV and a/c. It isn’t fancy, but it was a great stay. Quiet and very convenient to all attractions.
